WELCOMING YOU HOME

We serve the world by sharing the spiritual wisdom found in the ancient Vedic literatures, such as Bhagavad-Gita and Shrimad-Bhagavatam, through the practice of Bhakti-Yoga, or Krishna-bhakti, or devotion to God, Krishna.

Srila Prabhupada

“Krishna consciousness means God-consciousness. Jesus, or anyone who speaks about God, is in Krishna consciousness. But one must know the science, and within that science there are degrees of knowledge.”

Teachings

The word “yoga” comes from the Sanskrit root Yuj which means to link with, or combine. Bhakti-yoga means to connect to the Supreme by means of loving devotional service.

Timeline PhotosEveryday we should try to do kirtan or japa in such a way that we advance, that we are moving, that my spiritual understanding today is not the same as it was yesterday or the day before, that I am personally moving. I am moving toward Krishna. And as Prabhupada puts it, for every step I take toward Krishna, he is taking several steps toward us. #hdg #hdgoswami #japa #holyname ... See MoreSee Less
