With a graduate degree in Religion & Ecology and a minor in Nonprofit Leadership, she is formerly the Director of Media at the University of Florida’s Center for the Study of Hindu Traditions (CHiTra). She is also an academic adviser for the Bhumi Project, a UN-sponsored educational campaign committed to the promotion of ecological awareness within Hindu communities. She and her husband live in Kyoto, Japan.
